Hot Knits: 30 Cool, Fun Designs to Knit and Wear
I really like this book, it's full of tops to knit that are real-world-wearable, for the most part. Most designs are acheivable for beginners, and there are designs for the more experienced as well. Don't look for all-over cables in this book.
